A wide range  of  testing is available to assess your intellectual strengths and areas for improvements. 

The value of completing a psychological assessment is to obtain a better understanding of the the specific struggles you endure. 
Completing an assessment will allow you to:
  1. Better understand if you have any intellectual and/or academic difficulties (e.g., Learning Disorders)  
  2. Assess for neurodivergent struggles such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  3. Asses for mental health diagnoses (e.g., depression, anxiety disorders, drug / alcohol abuse, personality disorders). ​
By obtaining a diagnosis (e.g., ADHD), you can:

  2. Implement the appropriate strategies to maximize your strengths
  3. Minimize the negative impact that your identified areas for growth have on your everyday functioning. 
As a registered psychologist, Dr. Bonin has experience working with the Workers Compensation Board (WCB), RCMP, and Veteran Affairs.

He has  completed mental health assessments with a focus on front line workers who have developed Major Depressive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) as part of their required work duties.
